SUPER RARE! 1952 Baseball Team Emblem Ice Scraper Complete Set 16 Teams READ
ALL my prices are fair because THEY HAVE TO BE. This is not my hobby. That means I have to sell my items in a timely manner. If I don't, I will hear my wife says something like this: Hey, Jerry, when are you going to make a deposit at the bank? Fortunately, that has not happened often in the past 26 years. It is way rarer than a 1952 Topps baseball set, for example. The good thing about this 1952 complete set of 16 Major League Baseball team emblems is that it runs less than about 2% of the cost of my 1952 Topps baseball set. This was manufactured by a company called C. McDonald Manufacturing headquartered in Wilbraham, MA, which oddly enough is the longtime headquarters of Friendly Ice Cream. McDonald in the early 1950s. I bought it because I had never seen it before and I attended more than 150 sports card shows in the mid to late 1980s. It was the only one he had. And I have never taken it out of the soft plastic I bought it in originally. So I have never opened it. I took a photo from the side, which allows you to see the 16 different Major League teams at the time--Boston Red Sox, Washington Senators, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Browns, Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia As, Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants, Boston Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs. I would call the condition of this super rare set as near mint. A few of the emblems appear to have a slight bend to them. After more than 70 years on earth, I have a slight bend as well! The emblems measure about 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". The ice scraper is plastic and it is about 3 long. This is for the collector/investor who would appreciate a rare, nearly antique collectible.
