When new models are introduced, Pentax is known to build a skeleton model for display at camera shows. This specific model is Pentax SF1, or marketed as SFX in Japan and introduced in 1987. This camera was world's first SLR camera with built-in TTL auto flash.

As a collective item, this set is great because (1) these skeleton models were built only in very limited quantity, (2) both camera and lens come with original box, and (3) come in very nice condition without any tan and protective plastic cover is still present in film compartment. This camera is for collection, and although it works fine, its working condition is not guaranteed.

Since light enters film compartment through transparent body shell, it cannot be used for actual use. Mint condition with almost no sign of use. Original Box, Pentax Body Cap. Since diaphragm is meaningless as light enters through transparent lens barrel, it cannot be used for actual use. PA -> AS switch parts is loose. Lens with no fungus or scratch, but some haze is present.

Original Box, Pentax Front & Rear Lens Caps. Almost no signs of use. Excellent condition with minor signs of use.

Great condition with some signs of use. Good condition with apparent signs of use, but works well.

Heavy signs of use, but works properly. By DHL, Japan Post or UPS.
