This issue produced by the Philadelphia Gum Co. In 1967 is one of the most legendary and beloved Marvel sets of the last half century and also one of the most difficult to collect. It features 55 colorful stickers depicting the characters of the Marvel Universe at the time accompanied by sarcastic captions that perfectly capture the tone of 1967 Marvel comics. What makes it difficult to collect isn't just the 56-year lineage, the relative instability of rubber cement, or even the heavy sticker separation line (horizontal in the US/vertical in the Canadian issue). What makes these such a challenge is the "creative" cutting of the stickers that, more often than not, cut across caption balloons, inner frame lines, and super heroes.
This is not a set for the faint of heart or perfectionist among us. You get all 55 horizontally cut US-printed stickers and the photos are of the exact cards you will receive. Look them over carefully and compare condition and price with other singles available online. This has been sitting in a steel cabinet in my climate controlled basement for 30+ years just waiting for you to own it.
